Mary Reed

Account Manager
  • Mary serves as the primary business contact for PAI’s first IBM and MBM subsidy program. She is responsible for the maintenance and contract adherence of the program that she manages. In order to deliver consistent first-rate client service, Mary works closely with all of PAI’s departments to ensure her clients’ needs are met. Mary is diligent in keeping up-to-date with the program data, performs quality assurance checks and maintains a strong working knowledge of the systems used to service her accounts. Mary’s thorough knowledge of the systems and the clients’ contract has a positive impact by achieving all contractual service level requirements, which ultimately results in long-term client retention. She maintains a professional rapport with the clients and program members.

    Mary has been with PAI for over 20 years. During this time Mary has worked in different customer service and account management roles with the high-risk pool and subsidy programs that PAI administers. Mary also worked as part of the team that designed and implemented the HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures for PAI.

    Mary began her career with Travelers Insurance Company. While at Travelers, MetraHealth, and UnitedHealth Group, she held a number of different positions in various departments, including 12 years implementing COBRA Administration services for numerous clients, as well as designing and delivering COBRA training classes for clients and Senior Management.
